WHAT WAS THAT!?!?!?!??!!!!

The last few days I have seen mouse droppings. So being paranoid, I started to put everything in plastic containers that seal shut, including the silverware. Thinking that I had solved the problem I was quiet happy.
Then the other night Lopaka and I were getting ready for bed, he was brushing his teeth and I was going pee. He picked up a towel off the floor(yes, I am not afraid to say our bathroom was messy) And I thought I saw something fly out of the towel. "What was that?" I asked. Lopaka said a toy.... then that toy RAN OVER MY TOES!!! IT WAS A MOUSE! I was so freaked out I was screaming at the top of my lungs!! I jumped up on top of the toilet, pants down around my ankles and I am just screaming!!!!!! I woke up Keith, Lehua and Uncle Ronald. Sorry guys! Hello it was so freaky!!!
The next day we had traps set up all over the house and we caught our little friend. It was so gross... but in a funny way, it reminded me of when Lopaka was trying to catch the cricket that was in our wall. hee heee.

90 days baby!!

Yes that is right. Lopaka and I have started our P90X workout. We are going to try to stick it out and finish the full 90 days. We have completed one week and let me tell you what!!!! We are so sore! I will have to keep you updated on how well we do.
P90X
Here is the website so you can take a peek at our workout.

When it rains.....

It pours! Last week the van that was given to Lopaka, a 1999 Chevy Venture, finally died. No saving it at all. So off to the scrap yard it went. Only days later we walk outside to find our Trailblazer busted up! the back windshield was completely shattered! Thank goodness for insurance huh? That window is spendy! Crazy huh? No one was outside, we live in an older neighborhood, no kids around, all my kids inside with me.... no signs of vandalism.... nothing. Oh well huh? They will have the part to fix it next week.

Kekoa is 8 month old!

Kekoa is now eight months old and is just growing so much! What a joy he is to be around. He is always smiling and laughs as he goes from room to room crawling away. He enjoys his food and everyone else who will give him a bite. :)
He has mastered the art of crawling and has all too soon began to pull himself up onto furniture and even tries to stand on his own. He has got so many little bumps and bruises on his poor little head, but he keeps on trying. He is getting better at napping and night time. He is a great sleeper, but getting him to sleep is a chore, I am happy that he is getting better at self soothing.
At church he is the ward baby. As soon as we walk into the building he is wisked away by someone. He is just too cute they can't keep away. Always happy and smiling, and lauging. Oh the laughing. His brother's make him laugh the most. They love it when he climbs up on them and he loves that they take the time to let him play with them.

Makaio starts Preschool!

We have had Makaio on two or three different waiting lists for preschool and it was looking pretty slim that he would get into any this year at all... then just like that a spot opened up. He was so excited to be going to school like the big boys. He takes his little back pack with him and off he goes. He loves it, and I love that he is enjoying it.
